Specialist, SAP Master Data Governance - CR

Position Overview

Responsible for supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving the use of the corporate ERP system and other critical business software applications through various means, including Master Data Governance, process improvement initiatives, enhancements, and user training. Serve as the primary point of contact for collaboration between technical and business partners for Master Data Governance related efforts, as well as the primary point of contact for collaboration with TAH/TC Global Data Governance team. Responsible for Master Data Governance activities that enable leveraging data as an asset at MicroVention. Job duties:
  • Responsible for management of core Master Data objects such as Material, Customer, Vendor, etc., to ensure data accuracy across ERP system and other applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audits, and data validation, while strictly adhering to master data rules, procedures, and governance.
  • Analyze, review, and approve requests to create or change Master Data objects (e.g., Materials, Customer, Vendors, Financial, and Operational) for integrity and completeness.
  • Manage the effort and act as a single point-of-contact for mass data loads.
  • Work with and support Data Specialists to ensure all Master Data activities are performed timely, accurately, and with good team spirit.
  • Collaborate with various functions in the creation and implementation of new or revised business processes and system solutions that affect Master Data.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on Master Data related systems problems and recommend or execute corrective action.
  • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    1. Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    2. A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience with key software systems (ERP) in a manufacturing environment.
    3. Must be able to identify and resolve problems with focus on prevention.
    4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    5. Detail oriented and organized.
    6. Ability to work collaboratively with others and maintain positive working relationships.
    7. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
    8. Capable of strategic and tactical engagement.
    9. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
