Position Overview
Provide technical support in the management of product, vendor, customer, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other data objects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple systems. Focus on activities such as complex data loads, integration issues, troubleshooting, support of MDG Leads, coordination of data improvement activities with other SAP functional teams, and other data related tasks. Job duties:
- Address data quality issues by analyzing various integrated systems and different cross-functional processes like inventory management, planning, production planning, quality, batch management, etc.
- Perform analysis tasks such as understanding business processes, understanding process challenges and issues, asking leading questions, and recommending target state.
- Collaborate to define data requirements and specifications for new projects, detailed reports, or system enhancements in different systems such as MDG, SAP, and Windchill.
- Support efforts to troubleshoot data transmissions between PLM and MDG/SAP and streamline the integration to improve efficiency.
- Guide team of Data Leads and provide support in day-to-day activities such as Data Loads, Data Extracts, and Mass Updates.
- Modify MDG/SAP existing solution to make it more efficient and better aligned with business needs.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements, user exits, and other programming changes.
- Participate in the review process of data objects for quality, completeness, and overall integrity of key data elements and provide remediation recommendations for data cleansing.
- Support and perform testing on SAP changes that affect MDG processes.
- Research and evaluate new technologies/solutions, remain abreast of industry standards and best practices in MDG functional areas of SAP, analyze potential impact on company systems governance framework, and inform management of actions needed or other recommendations.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant SAP work experience including a minimum of five (5) years in SAP MDM/MDG or other related professional certification.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience with key software systems (ERP) in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems with a focus on prevention.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and maintain positive working relationships.
- Must be able to collaborate with a global team of technical and business team members.

- Capable of strategic and tactical engagement.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG architecture and configuration.
- Hands-on experience in MDG development and configuration.
- Experience and knowledge of key integration points with MDG module.
- Experience with End-to-End Implementation of MDG module for large-scale organization.
- Good knowledge in data enrichment, quality/health check of master data.
- Good knowledge of BAPI, User exists, Export rules, ABAP code, RFC connection, etc.
- S/4 HANA experience.
- Experience with system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing, and support.
- Experience with system integration (e.g., IDOC, SOA, Flat File, etc.).
- Strong Knowledge in ABAP, ALE/IDOC, Workflows, RFCs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Experience working on FIORI/Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, DRF and BRF, SAP ABAP OOP, SAP Workflow, and SAP Web Services.
- Relevant medical device industry experience.
