Position Overview

The Global Supply Chain Analyst will support the Planning department with data analysis, reporting and system governance. The role will also support special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed. Critical thinking, attention to detail and strong analytical abilities are required for this role. Communication and relationship skills are important, as this role involves collaborating across multiple departments to drive improvement of organizational supply chain practices. Job duties:
  • Extract inventory & production data from ERP and generate reports for planning, manufacturing and other areas of the supply chain.
  • Analyze data in Excel to determine appropriate inventory par levels for Kanban and Raw materials.
  • Maintain specified Kanban levels, report monthly levels, and recommend adjustments when necessary.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations for current and new projects, new product introductions and other change initiatives in the areas of cost and capacity.
  • Work closely with purchasing to guarantee raw material is available to support the planned product mix and coordinate priorities.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools, including demand pull.
  • Knowledge of managing 3rd party warehouse. Understand inventory movement between 2 systems.
  • Manage inventory synchronization at FedEx Warehouse (Europe) with MicroVention ERP system to improve accuracy and reduce discrepancies. Function requires solid understanding of both FedEx and ERP systems.
  • Assist with daily management, communication and interactions between third-party warehouses in Hong Kong and Management team regarding inventory synchronization, freights and shipments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related degree.
    2. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and analytical approach towards problem solving in a matrix environment.
    3. Ability to analyze data, present findings and make recommendations.
    4. Advanced computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strong ERP usage and understanding.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Medical device industry experience.
    2. ERP knowledge/ experience.
    3. Mandarin speaking.
