Human Resources

The Human Resources department at MicroVention-Terumo is a small group of professionals dedicated to supporting this fast-growing organization that empowers its people to innovate and challenge the status quo. Team members work with our clients to develop talent management strategies, support HR Operations, manage payroll, create unique, department-specific sourcing/recruiting strategies, while providing business partner support to diverse client groups.

Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Intern

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Intern will work on two (2) projects in support of the department; 1) Identify current business processes in HR Systems (Workday, BrassRing, SuccessFactors); 2) Align HR Systems processes with HR functional processes. The Intern will create a diagram that represents a view of the system process and functional process. Typical duties might include:
  • Learning to navigate Workday, BrassRing and SuccessFactors
  • Identifying process owners
  • Identify dependencies in system process and functional process
  • Identify manual processes completed outside of HR Systems
  • Present findings to HR Management team.
    1. Working toward Bachelor’s degree
    2. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    3. Proven analytical abilities and ability to comprehend documents and concepts.
    4. Ability to workindependently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    5. Proven experience with MS Office Suite and MS Visio
    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Intermediate/advanced MS Visio skills
