Position Overview

With knowledge and understanding of the operations financial plan this role would connect Key Performance Measures for operations back to the financials. Responsible for managing the portfolio of KPI and reporting out to key management on the results along with recommending additional KPI that would drive further alignment of metric performance and financial performance and leveraging the information to create strategic plans for MicroVention. Job duties:
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and other departments to create meaningful metrics facilitating informed decisions by functional managers.
  • Generate and publish agreed upon metrics to all impacted departments.
  • Understand the meaning of data analysis to provide value for business decision.
  • Work with functional managers to establish cascading metrics connecting each level to the corporate level priorities.
  • Learn our product, market, and data to form hypotheses about data insights, then strategically test those hypotheses.
  • Using the right tool kit to extract and harness data from a variety of systems, analyze, and present results.
  • Evaluate operational decisions to understand how they will impact metrics.
  • Create and maintains short/long term capacity planning scenarios for senior leadership to review and make strategic decisions (WW Capacity and Space Planning).
  • Identify training required to ensure appropriate level of business acumen for mgmt. team and engineering.
  • Manage financial tracking of key projects tied to annual budget and targets.
  • Track DfX, VIP or other projects once approved by Senior leadership.
  • Work with department heads to justify increases in capacity, headcount, capital or expenses.
  • Support annual budget process as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    1. One (1) to two (2) years of experience analyzing large, high dimensional data sets in a strategic role.
    2. Previous experience in business/systems analysis.
    3. Proven experience in eliciting requirements.
    4. Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
    5. Experience in building strategic, impactful, business-driven insights from data (examples of case studies preferred).
    6. Life science technology experience.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
    2. STEM degree preferred.
