Intern, Medical Affairs

The Medical Affairs Intern will bea part of the Medical Affairs Department and will provide clerical support for medical writing projects for regulatory authorities. Typical duties might include:

  • Provide clerical support in the planning and execution of activities for medical writing, reviewing medical literature and compiling available clinical data.
  • Support the research, creation and editing of assigned clinical reports, documents and scientific presentations in cooperation with the Clinical, Medical, & Regulatory Affairs Teams.
  • Conduct literature searches and compile articles for the Medical Affairs team
  • Contribute to the scientific content for documents to support regulatory submissions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.
    1. Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline.
    2. Excellent writing and editing skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
    3. Highly proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    4. Experienced in conducting focused literature searches on PubMed, Medline or other medical literature databases.
    5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    • The primary work location for this position is Aliso Viejo, CA (company headquarters)
    • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.
