Position Overview

Manages lean projects from manufacturing lines. Develops lean project management system. Interfaces cross-functionally to ensure time lines and concepts meet business requirements.Job duties:
  • Coordinates project activities, planning, budgeting and scheduling with production supervisors and core team members.
  • Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational requirements to determine project specifications.
  • Consults with BEX relative to project documentation and prioritization.
  • Consults with engineering relative to modification of machines and equipment to improve production and quality of products.
  • Conducts training.
  • Maintains projects documentation.
  • Provides presentations to management team.
  • Maintain metrics, reports and project documentation.
  • Support other project responsibilities as assigned.
    1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent
    2. Experience working effectively and confidently in a team environment.
    3. Five (5) years related work expertise.
    4. Lean Manufacturing Knowledge.
    5. Project Management Knowledge.
    6. Six Sigma Knowledge.
    7. Statistics Knowledge.
    8. Two years’ experience in project management

    3. Reads and prepares technical documentation.
    4. Possesses knowledge of Quality Systems and other standards in the industry.
    5. Expertise in Statistics, Lean & Six Sigma concepts.
    6. Prior experience with lean tools.
    7. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    8. Detail-oriented approach to tasks and problem solving.
    9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
    10. Able to work with multiple Associates and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
    11. MS Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel software.
