Our summer internship program immerses each intern in an interactive, project-based work environment. Over the span of three months, interns will participate in an in-depth orientation week, facility tours, Leadership Speaker Series Q&A panel, community service activities, baseball games, and beach bashes—all crafted to invest in our interns’ personal and professional development. Intern, Production Chemistry
The Production Chemistry Intern will assist in the evaluation and optimization of current manufacturing routes to chemical sub-assemblies. This work will include the identification key process inputs and the characterization of reaction intermediates and products. Typical duties include:

Intern, Production Chemistry
The Production Chemistry Intern will assist in the evaluation and optimization of current manufacturing routes to chemical sub-assemblies. This work will include the identification key process inputs and the characterization of reaction intermediates and products. Typical duties include:
- Primary work location is in a chemistry laboratory.
- Safe handling of chemicals in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
- Synthetic organic transformation assessment and route optimization
- Performs laboratory tasks under direct supervision.
- Able to utilize general laboratory equipment independently.
- Performs analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC and GC.
- Data analysis and documenting of results.
