Our summer internship program immerses each intern in an interactive, project-based work environment. Over the span of three months, interns will participate in an in-depth orientation week, virtual facility tours, Leadership Speaker Series Q&A panel, community service activities, and virtual outdoor social events (including a Virtual Escape Room and Virtual Trivia)—all crafted to invest in our interns’ personal and professional development. Talent Development Intern

Calling all curious candidates! We’re looking for an intern who is inquisitive and has a desire to learn and help others do the same. TheTalent Development Intern will gain real-world experience to add to their resume while contributing towards an empowered workplace. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager, Global Talent Development, and will partner with the Director, Talent Acquisition & Development, the Talent Development Team Members, and HR Business Partners to implement programs, projects and initiatives to advanceMicroVention’s Global Talent Strategy, ultimately fostering a culture of innovation, and enabling organizational achievement. The role includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Support the learning effectiveness and execution of Talent Development programs, workshops and additional services such as the Talent Development Podcast, Learning Community, etc. May include creating project plans, monitoring and reporting, proposing enhancements, and instructional design.
  • Enable informed decision-making by conducting research and comparative analysis on development approaches and best practices in connection with the Talent Development 3-year Strategy.
  • Active involvement in curriculum planning and launching, train-the-trainer sessions, and evaluation of curriculum success.
  • Assist with generating marketing campaigns to increase TD awareness, understanding and generate registration.
  • Integrate TD content into learning management system; run reports as needed.
  • Participate or take the lead on specific projects as needed.
  • Support MicroVention’s new hire orientation program AIO.It may include coordinating, facilitating and program administration.
  • Working closely with vendors when needed and members of the TD Team to effectively deliver offerings. May include ordering materials; scheduling rooms; monitoring usage and effectiveness of programs; tracking attendance; monitoring behavior change, reporting out on findings.
    1. Working toward an accredited degree in: Organizational Development, Talent Development/Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or Communications.
    2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in Talent Development, Talent Management, Human Resources or related field.
    3. Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects, strong attention to detail and well organized while managing multiple stakeholders.
    4. Able to create compelling reports and PPT presentations.
    5. Strong research experience and capabilities.
    6. Ability to create relationships quickly.
    7. Clear, concise and compelling communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
    8. Facilitation or Presentation experience preferred.
    9. Program management experience and instructional design experience preferred.
