Position Overview

Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s), utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures and capabilities of machines and equipment.
  • Ability to work mid-morning to early evening as the new pilot line is staffed for 2 shifts
  • Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of product
  • Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards and to obtain data regarding quantities, specification and delivery dates of products
  • Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications
  • Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities
  • Consults with engineering relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products
  • Conducts training and maintains production training records
    • Five (5) years minimum experience in medical device environments
    • Two (2) years experience in supervisory or lead capacity
    • HS graduate
    • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines
    • Knowledge of medical and biomedical development
    • Analyzes data and proposing solutions
    • Knowledge of production equipment
    • Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Internet experience desirable
