Position Overview

  1. Works with a variety of process equipment
  2. Supports engineers in equipment or process validation studies
  3. Identifies and repairs common equipment failures
  4. Provides operator training and monitors document conformance
  5. Identifies and corrects common process problems
  6. Supports Production or Process Development Departments as required
  7. Sets up, adjusts and operates manufacturing equipment and instruments
  8. Works with minimum supervision to meet production demands
  9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • A minimum five (5) years of experience as a Technician.
    • Knowledge of soldering, thermal curing (coding), metals like Nitinol and metal joining
    • ​Good Computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, AutoCad or SolidWorks
    • Knowledge of materials and suppliers
    • Good written and oral communication
    • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices

    Desired Qualifications:
    • Medical Device industry experience in Class II and/or III
    • Coiling machine experience
    • Previous experience with guidewires
