Position Overview

The Manager, Supply Chain will perform the Supply or Demand planning of Finished goods, analytics and optimization of inventory and distribution management, supply chain tools and information systems institution, strategic planning, and leadership.

Duties include:
  • Accountable for converting Demand Planning forecast into production / inventory requirements for internal & external suppliers.
  • Organizes ad hoc evaluations of short-term supply opportunities and issues with Demand Planning, the Pipeline Managers at the supply center(s), and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Identifies and supports process improvement activities/projects.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves capacity constraints as needed for assigned manufacturing locations and communicates potential product supply risks.
  • Escalates risk and communicates significant demand and supply trend shifts to Senior Management and the relevant supply center(s).
  • Accountable for managing the overall inventory performance for assigned business.
  • Establishes safety stock levels, utilizes rough cut capacity in development of Master Production Schedule in accordance with manufacturing build plans.
  • Proactively reduce obsolescence risk and non-value-added materials.
  • Provides leadership and prioritization to direct reports.Ensuring team maintains relevant master data.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting or related business field
    • Former or current management experience
    • Proven understanding of supply chain management principles such as (but not limited to) Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics.
    • Must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in inventory analytics and planning / master scheduling / sales support operations.4.
    • Proven experience working with SAP ERP system.
    • Experience in S&OP process, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners / customers.
    • Proven results with building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
