Inspector I, QC

Position Overview
Performs inspections at various stages of production of the product from raw materials, sub-assemblies and final assemblies to assure quality and conformance to specifications and procedural requirements
  • Performs and documents QC inspection activities to assure conformance to specification and procedural requirements.
  • Provides feedback to QA, Operations and R&D on quality issues.
  • Initiates non-conformance reports.
Performs special projects as directed
  • Required Qualifications
    1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical device manufacturing.
    2. Previous experience with video inspection equipment and other inspection tools desirable.
    3. High School diploma or equivalent.
    4. Good reading and written communication skills.
    5. Demonstrated knowledge of inspection techniques; understanding and reading technical documentation including mechanical drawings.
    6. Good written and oral communication skills.
    7. Working in controlled environments (clean rooms).
    8. Detail oriented
    9. Good interpersonal skills.
    10. Knowledge of GMP (QSR) and/or ISO regulations.
    11. Some knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to balance and prioritize work load to support production schedule.

    Additional Information
    • The primary work location for this position is Aliso Viejo, CA (company headquarters)
    • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.
