Position Overview
Support manufacturing of products for medical devices with work including operational systems development, time studies, process flow analysis, lines balancing, layout design, operational needs, and process efficiencies. Job duties:
- Time studies development and analysis.
- Layout improvements proposal design and execution.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods that are applied and activities that take place in manufacturing.
- Create and present technical reports.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Capable of being self-taught on engineering or technology tools as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, Statistical Software (Minitab/JMP), AutoCAD and Process Simulation software (Arena or similar).
- Knowledge of Lean principles.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to solve operational problems.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of process flow, value stream analysis, operations demand, and operator requirements.
- Green Belt or related certification is a plus.
- APICS or related certification is a plus.
