
Manager, Business Excellence

Position Overview
Responsible for spearheading best practices to improve the overall performance improvement of MV’s manufacturing operations. The key focus is on aligning best practices between manufacturing sites, including processes, tooling, safety, quality, costs, delivery, training, and morale, and driving continuous improvement to become a world-class manufacturer. Job duties:
- Drive efficiency and utilization (e.g., productivity) of the value stream.
- Ensure quality of the products built and effective resolution of quality issues.
- Maximize process and product flow through the value stream.
- Determine budgets and control costs within value stream and drive cost reduction.
- Responsible for financial success of the value stream.
- Develop and manage metric driven continuous improvement throughout the value stream and gain team member buy-in.
- Ensure that product quality acceptance criteria is clearly understood.
- Act as a mentor for Supervisors and team and support them with hands-on training, leadership, and interdepartmental communication.
- Represent the projects as necessary at meetings, briefings, etc.
- Provide necessary value stream performance data on a monthly and quarterly basis to Staff.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in medical device environment.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in supervisory capacity.
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and the internet.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to use computer applications effectively.
- Prior experience in operational management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation.
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Have interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with teams and coordinate with other departments.
