Lead, Warehouse
Position Overview
Coordinate and perform material receiving, handling, put-away, picking, issue, & shipping tasks; as well as related data entry in the inventory management systems. • Inventory stock maintenance • Receive delivered materials • Put away released materials • Pick and deliver materials requested by production leads and others • Coordinate and prepare shipments to sterilization vendor • Data entry/maintenance in the inventory management system • Report inventory shortages to Buyers • Perform inventory Cycle Counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies as required • Train associates • Direct and supervise day-to-day activities of up to 3 associates • Participate and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
- • General computer knowledge, including Excel, Word and Access • Good written and oral communication skills • Ability to read and understand company procedures • Basic math skills • Training ability • HS diploma or equivalent • 3-5 years general warehouse or related experience • Production support experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment • General knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices • MRP system experience
