Machinist (Manual Tooling)
Position Overview
Responsible for machining and maintenance of process tooling and fixtures.• Set-up equipment to fabricate tooling• Fabricate and assemble production tooling• Clean, inspect and repair production tooling• Maintain machine shop equipment •Keep machine shop clean• Any other task as assigned
- • Ability to perform own set ups• Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations• Good communication skills• Ability to read and interpret drawings and sketches• Basic assembly skills• HS diploma or equivalent• 5 years experience with conventional machines, lathe, milling machine and surface grinder• Detail oriented• Must have own tools
