Position Overview

Responsible for the support, maintenance, and configuration of the HRIS system. Assist with the intake and assignment of all HRIS inquiries through the Workday Help tool. Handle problems and both routine and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take. Assist with ensuring data entry/integrity, testing of system changes, training of systems to internal and external customers, and report writing. Perform a variety of day-to-day administrative HRIS functions ensuring processing and reporting of HR data. Work closely with subject matter experts to analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities. Work independently under general direction. Job duties:
  • Provide day-to-day customer service, triage, and system support to existing and new system users in support of timely and accurate data in applicable system(s).
  • Assist with the intake and assignment of HRIS inquires through Workday Help (case/ticketing tool).
  • Provide support for HR systems including, but not limited to, performing scheduled activities, researching, and triaging system errors, problems, unexpected results, or process flaws, and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Support configuration of Workday organizations, business processes, and activities (Core HCM, Annual Merit/ Performance Management, Bonus Plans/Annual Bonus Process, Integrations, Onboarding, and Time Off/Leave Plans).
  • Perform setup and audit of various HR data. Accountable for maintaining data integrity for systems.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of employee workflows and data entry into Workday.
  • Development of standard reports for ongoing internal and external customer needs. Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
  • Prepare reports, graphs, charts, and statistics in support of Human Resources operations.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training aids such as procedures, guidelines, and process documentation. Train associates, HR staff, and new system users on processes/functionality.
  • Support primarily internal staff on small projects.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    2. Two (2) years of experience with HRIS systems; general knowledge of HR functional areas, configuration, reporting and workflows.
    3. Two (2) years of experience with solid HRIS customer service, triage, reporting, and training material development orientation (job aides, audio, in person technical support).
    4. Good metrics, reporting, and business analysis technical acumen. Experience developing and generating reports, analytics, and dashboards.
    5. Strong listening, verbal, and written communications skills.
    6. Advanced MS Excel skills with good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
