Position Overview

The Marketing MBA Intern will utilize and refine financial models to support quantitative analysis of neurovascular markets and business opportunities. This role acts as key support to the marketing business analytics initiatives in collaboration with the Product Management, Finance and R&D Teams. Typical duties include:

  • Utilizing financial models to assess internal and external business opportunities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional team to identify opportunities to improve and refine existing financial models

  • Implementing refined financial models by creating tools, forms, templates and obtaining cross-functional buy-in

  • Accepting additional projects as assigned


Potential project for the U.S. Downstream Marketing Internship:

  • Using analytics to develop marketing KPIs
  • Execution of U.S. field team events with physicians
  • Communications execution to field team, U.S.
  • Clinical case image book
  • Digital marketing content creation and strategy
  • Competitive intel portal development
  • Marketing collateral creation
  • Required Qualifications

    • Working towards an MBA degree required

    • Experience working effectively and confidently in a team environment

    • Strong analytical and organization skills

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    • Detail-oriented approach to tasks and problem solving

    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail

    • Able to work with multiple Associates and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

    • MS Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel software

    Desired Qualifications

    • Interest/experience in the medical devices industry and marketing communications

    • Experience with financial analysis and market evaluation

    • Strong software applications experience

    • Comfort and knowledge of social media applications

    Additional Information

    • The primary work location for this position is Aliso Viejo, CA (company headquarters).

    • Relocation may be available for qualified candidates.

    • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.
