Intern, R&D (Neurovascular Stents)
Position Overview
The R&D Intern will assist in supporting development of medical device products through project work focused on verifying specifications, designs, fixtures, test processes, equipment and helping to ensure the concepts and/or prototypes meet their requirements. Typical job duties might include:
R&D project involvement
Device design and process development
Device flow model bench and physical attribute testing
Data analysis and test report write-ups
The neurovascular stent R&D team supports the development of coil assist, flow diverting, Carotid and ICAD stents for the non-invasive treatment of aneurysms and malformations. The R&D intern will be part of a team bringing a developmental stent device to market.
