Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications
Position Overview
Responsible for strategy development and effective execution of the company’s product marketing communication initiatives globally including promotions, product and therapy branding, conferences, and sales meetings. Leads team that plans and executes global conferences in collaboration with product marketing, regional marketing, sales, and communication teams. Manages product brands partnering closely with product marketing and communications teams and external partners to ensure company’s brand is recognized by customers and partners. Manages marketing technology platforms, working closely with IT, product marketing and communications teams. Job duties:
- Manage the development, content creation, and implementation of the company's product marketing communications programs including promotions and product and therapy branding, product related press releases, and HCP events for global markets.
- Develop and execute global conference strategy; lead planning and execution for US and major international meetings including attendee and budget management; support regional marketing for all other conferences to ensure global consistency of messaging and strategy.
- Lead planning and execution of annual US/North America sales meeting; support planning and execution of regional sales meetings.
- Develop and manage department budget.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the Product Management teams to develop cost-effective sales support materials to facilitate successful implementation for all product strategies.
- Represent MicroVention as an ambassador and key contact with industry and scientific societies entities to ensure the company is widely and positively represented in the general business press, industry, and community.
- Responsible for product and therapeutic related advertising efforts and promotions; ensure content compliant with regulations, industry standards, and brand standards in partnership with the communications team.
- Lead and manage marketing technology platforms including, but not limited to, the Corporate Website, marketing project management software, sales enablement applications, and internal materials review system.
- Partner with the corporate communications team to design and develop strategic content and product and therapeutic areas on the Corporate Website to ensure maximum effectiveness and utilization.
- Work with the corporate communications team to execute social media and digital communication campaigns related to products and therapies.
- Partner with regional marketing Associates to leverage best practices globally.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing product management, and other key stakeholders to plan and execute strategies, tactics, activities, and support programs for the purpose of conveying the most positive marketing message to customers in global markets.
- Partner with corporate communications with information required to be shared with Terumo Corporation, and its entities as needed, regarding our products and therapeutic information.
- Partner with executive staff in leading company-wide initiatives.
- Mentor, coach, and develop associates within the marketing department and across the company.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
