Position Overview

Responsible for the day-to-day . operation of the multiple buildings and Facilities Department staff. Manages the preventive maintenance of all facilities equipment and the Waste Chemical Program. This includes scheduling, department relocation, building modification, space allocation, estimates and cost of equipment, labor, material and other related items.
  • Manages the maintenance of the company buildings, facilities and equipment
  • Coordinates building improvements, expansion and build-outs
  • Coordinates all internal staff relocation
  • Schedules vendors for preventive maintenance service, janitorial service, security service and waste chemical service
  • Updates and maintains CAD drawings of all facilities building and space allocation
  • Maintains compliance with all OSHA, OCFA, city and state regulations
  • Oversees the waste chemical management at all levels
  • Manages daily facilities requests, DocuSphere Work Flow and MP-2
  • Coordinates the daily schedule of Facilities Department staff
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels including internal staff and external vendors
    • Requires strong supervisory skills with good oral and written communication
    • Determines optimal space layout for office space, equipment and furniture
    • Familiar with local building codes and maintains current OCFA, OSHA, ADA and state regulations
    • Experience with 5/S Program
    • Construction and project management experience a plus
    • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Auto Cad, DocuSphere Work Flow and MP-2
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Up to six years of experience plus one year of Leadership responsibility
    • Cleanroom environment experience
    • Waste chemical management and training experience
    • Experience collaborating with external vendors
    • Project management experience from start to completion
