Position Overview

Work with engineers, supervisors, and operators to support all functions related to automation projects and their respective manufacturing activities. Job duties:
  • Work with a variety of process equipment and software.
  • Support engineers in project and/or process issues.
  • Work independently to meet automation projects goals.
  • Identify and repair common equipment failures.
  • Provide operator training and monitor document conformance.
  • Identify and correct common process problems.
  • Support automation development as required.
  • Set up, adjust and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Perform new equipment/fixtures validations and draft manufacturing documents such ES, IQOQs, DTs, TDs, CFs.
  • Support software, equipment, and process validations.
  • Work with suppliers getting quotes and coordinate jobs. Place PRs.
  • Propose software, equipment, and /or fixture improvements (maintenance and downtime).
  • Support in project evaluation and feasibility analysis.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Associates technical degree in related field (e.g., Mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer science, etc.).
    3. (2-3) years of experience working in a technical field.
    4. Experience in medical device industry.
    5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
    6. English level 50%
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Auto-Cad or Solid Works preferred.
    2. Knowledge of materials and suppliers.
    3. Knowledge in programming languages preferred.
    4. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
    5. Knowledge in pneumatics and electrical/electronic preferred.
    6. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
    7. Studies (30%) in Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electronics or related) preferred.
