Position Overview

This role works in close business partnership with the Operations and Finance teams to support continued growth by ensuring that working capital is optimally invested and cost reduction projects have strong financial justification and are executed as planned. Job duties:
  • Establish best practices and embrace and promote a culture that emphasizes accountability, integrity, partnership and transparency.
  • Create consolidated inventory reporting process providing a comprehensive global view of inventory.
  • Working with the Supply Chain and Sales Operations teams, identify and implement projects to optimize and reduce inventory levels.
  • Perform quarterly financial analysis of the inventory reviews to ensure risks are properly accounted for.
  • Develop cross-functional team to actively identify and mitigate inventory expired and excess risk in RM, FG, Consigned and Trunk Stock.
  • Partner with the Business Excellence team on developing financial framework to properly evaluate and implement cost savings projects.
  • Provide reporting and analytical support to the Procurement team for the PPV process.
  • Create and manage process for the financial review and approval of operation initiated capital expense projects.
  • Lead the quarterly audit response for the Operations and Cost Accounting team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.
    2. Six (6) years of experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities.
    3. Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. MBA or professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA).
    2. A high degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision.
    3. Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations.
    4. Medical device industry experience.
    5. Accounting / Finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
    6. SAP experience
