Position Overview

Support operations by monitoring and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality. Design and maintain data systems and databases, including fixing errors and other data-related problems. Mine data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganize said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine. Use statistical tools to interpret data sets and pay particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts. Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance. Manage projects related to data virtualization, including enterprise applications, reporting, and mobile users from different data sources. Job duties:
  • Understand the meaning of data analysis to provide value for business decision.
  • Using the right tool kit to extract and harness data from a variety of systems, analyze and present results.
  • Identify training required to ensure appropriate level of business acumen for management and engineering teams.
  • Work on systems such as PLM, MES & ERP (SAP).
  • Create and maintain master data, process plans and act as a data liaison.
  • Maintain/update bill of materials, routings, work center and production versions.
  • Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain operations records and databases (SAP, MES and Windchill).
  • Perform extracting, importing, and exporting of data in various database applications (SAP, JDE, PLM and Windchill).
  • Assist in implementation, testing, and validating data.
  • Perform data analysis of key problem areas to assist in root cause analysis.
  • Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Assist with ongoing data architecture processes and governance.
  • Research and collect data to assist with product development and analysis.
  • Perform data reconciliations to identify data anomalies.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Define, develop, clearly and effectively communicate, implement, maintain and, above all, champion IT Master Data Management (MDM) program at the enterprise level.
  • Develop and maintain the master data integration governance process and strategic roadmap.
  • Collaboratively establish and define decision rights and accountability framework to ensure appropriate behavior in the maintenance, creation, use, archival and deletion of BOM information, including processes and roles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    1. Five plus (5+) years of IT related functional and/or strategic Master Data/ERP analysis experience.
    2. Five plus (5+) years of project and/or program management.
    3. Independent problems solving skills.
    4. Very strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact positively with all levels of management as well as communicating problems to appropriate teams within the organization.
    5. Previous experience in Business/Systems Analysis.
    6. Proven experience in eliciting requirements.
    7. Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
    8. Previous proven experience managing new systems implementations.
    9. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Consulting or Business Management Services background is a strong plus.
    2. Experience in building strategic, impactful, business-driven insights from data (examples of case studies preferred).
