Position Overview

Supports Industrial Engineers in the daily tasks including time studies, process flow analysis, lines balancing, layout design, operational needs and process efficiencies calculations. Job duties:
  • Performs time studies data compilation.
  • Provides layout drawing design.
  • Creates and presents technical reports.
  • Supports process analysis.
  • Assembles production units for method analysis if required.
  • Supports 5S and Lean initiatives tasks.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Details

    1. Industrial Engineering or related field student.
    2. Mechanical or Industrial Technical diploma.
    3. Two (2) to three (3) years of operations experience (Technician or Assembler).
    4. AutoCAD and/or similar tools proficiency.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Basic knowledge of Lean principals.
    2. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    3. Able to work a flexible schedule and overtime.
    4. Ability to interpret drawings.
    5. Ability and comfortable using a microscope.
    6. Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point.
    7. Statistical Software (Minitab/JMP), and Process Simulation software (Arena or similar) are a plus.
