Position Overview

Directs and coordinates product inspection activities using knowledge of product technology, quality specifications and procedures. • Directs and coordinates Quality Control Inspection on the performance of in-process and final product inspection • Provides feedback to QA, Operations and R&D on quality issues • Assists and trains QC on the Build Record review • Assists Operations and R&D with process or inspection improvements • Schedules and manages work flow for the Quality Control Inspection staff within the clean room • Assures in-process and final product inspection training is performed • Performs additional job related tasks as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager

Job Details

  • • Competent at inspection techniques; solid understanding of technical documentation including mechanical drawings • Experience leading other associates, preferably in quality control inspection • Good written and oral communications • Ability to read technical documentation • Experience working in controlled environments (clean rooms) • Good interpersonal skills • Knowledge of Quality Systems for medical device manufacturing and requirements for inspection and testing • Minimum 3 years in quality control for medical device manufacturing • Use of microscope and other hand measurement tools required to perform inspection • High School diploma or equivalent experience
