Position Overview

Manages individuals from entry level to senior level experience, develops product, researches new ideas, and establishes process development. Focus is on both theoretical and practical solution development through the application of the scientific process and directing subordinates toward clear objectives. Job duties:
  • Manages a group of individuals of varying technical experience from entry level to senior level on projects of broad and diverse scope.
  • Directs subordinates toward clear company objectives in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Collaborates with all departments and other associates within R&D to achieve company objectives and resolve project issues.
  • Communicates project status and issues in a timely, clear, and appropriate manner to the organization.
  • Analyzes and/or directs the analysis of research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposals.
  • Specifies and/or directs the specification and testing of new materials and designs.
  • Confers with appropriate departments, resources, and/or outside services to prepare design modifications, clarify problems and develop designs.
  • Plans and/or prepares quality system documentation, specifications, and detailed drawings.

Job Details

    1. BS Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
    2. Six to ten (6-10) years experience in medical device industry.
    3. Experience in Neurointerventional procedures.
    4. Computer skills including Word, Excel, Project, and SolidWorks.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Uses design/engineering and management software and equipment to perform engineering and management tasks.
    2. Good written and oral communication.
    3. Knowledge of raw material and suppliers.
    4. Good problem solving and conflict management skills.
