Position Overview

Help raise awareness and adoption of Neurovascular therapies. Lead the key product launches and train sales force on next generation product launches, competitive selling, internal training, assisting with customer questions, taking lead on creating curriculum for company products, maintaining communication with the Salesforce and customer base. Job duties:
  • Develop and implement training content to train internal employees and sales reps on relevant MicroVention and competitive Neurovascular procedures, products, and clinical data through multi modal learning platforms.
  • Use adult learning strategies to optimize internal training activities including using multi modal instructional methodologies.
  • Lead execution of training programs, tracking training budget, track program effectiveness, and share KPIs for the training initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary contact and resource to support the field team for their training needs.
  • Partner with physicians through events and clinical content development.
  • Drive new product launch strategies with specific emphasis on product differentiation and competitive messaging.
  • Build programs to establish proficiency and competency of sales reps and physicians for new neurovascular interventions.
  • Act as subject matter expert during interactions with sales representatives, physicians, and administrators through support of field trainings, conferences, customer meetings, and live sales meetings.
  • Interface with physicians for peer-to-peer initiatives and physician events.
  • Assist with building lasting strategies for physician engagement, KOL development, and institutional partnership including building and sustaining centers of excellence (COE).
  • Assist with building and lead scientific advisory boards and seek expert opinions as necessary.
  • Engage with professional societies and build advocacy for MicroVention technologies and clinical evidence.

  • Negotiate sponsorship contracts.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    1. Bachelor's degree in related field with ten (10+) or more years of Neurovascular or Cardiovascular (NV/CV) experience, OR Master’s degree in related field with eight (8+) or more years of NV/CV experience.
    2. Five (5+) or more years of medical device experience in a customer facing role (e.g., Medical Education, Marketing, or Sales role).
    3. At least three (3) years of management responsibility.
    4. Experience developing and implementing programs to grow the business.
    5. Experience working across functional teams.
    6. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; be able to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
    7. Excellent planning and analytical skills.
    8. Experience working with professional societies and government agencies (e.g., FDA), either directly or from within a corporation.
    9. Experience working in the health care industry.
    10. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
