Position Overview

Help raise awareness and adoption of Neurovascular therapies. Lead the internal training function, assisting with customer questions and retention, product launch training, and creating a curriculum for company products, while maintaining communication within the Salesforce and customer base. Have clear ownership and leadership of creating physician engagement initiatives, driving KOL engagement, and spearheading strategic engagement initiatives for the company. Job duties:
  1. Develop and implement training content to train internal employees and sales reps on relevant MicroVention and competitive Neurovascular procedures, products, and clinical data through multi modal learning platforms.
  2. Build and maintain current learning management system (LMS) and develop an overall online and digital learning strategy across all classes of products.
  3. Support training program execution, assist with tracking training budget, and track program effectiveness.
  4. Serve as a primary contact and resource to support the field team for their training needs.
  5. Be a key partner with Marketing, Clinical Specialists, R&D Engineers, and physician customers to develop and deliver content in the field and execute new hire classroom training.
  6. Partner with physicians through events and clinical content development.
  7. Act as subject matter expert during interactions with sales representatives, physicians, and administrators through support of field trainings, conferences, customer meetings, and live sales meetings.
  8. Interface with physicians for peer-to-peer initiatives and physician events.
  9. Ability to effectively position and communicate product value and clinical data.
  10. Support the field team, including providing sales tools and sales training.
  11. Build lasting strategies for physician engagement, KOL development, and institutional partnership including building and sustaining centers of excellence (COE).
  12. Build and lead scientific advisory boards and seek expert opinions as necessary.
  13. Engage with professional societies and build advocacy for MicroVention technologies and clinical evidence.
  14. Effectively engage directly with customers (clinicians) at congresses, during physician visits, and as needed on projects.
  15. Excellence in project management and project execution.
  16. Work as a team member, be flexible and adaptable, and work under pressure.
  17. Organize company-sponsored symposia for consultant and advisory board meetings.

  24. Negotiate sponsorship contracts.
  25. Travel up to 50% of the time.
  26. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    1. Bachelor's degree in related field with ten (10+) or more years of Neurovascular or Cardiovascular (NV/CV) experience with at least five (5) years in NV field, OR Master’s degree in related field with eight (8+) or more years of NV/CV experience with at least five (5) years being in NV field.
    2. Five (5+) or more years of medical device experience in a customer facing role (e.g., Medical Education, Marketing, or Sales role).
    3. At least five (5) years of management responsibility.
    4. Experience developing and implementing programs to grow the business.
    5. Experience working across functional teams.
    6. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; be able to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
    7. Excellent planning and analytical skills.
    8. Experience working with professional societies and government agencies (e.g., FDA), either directly or from within a corporation.
    9. Experience working in the health care industry.
    10. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
