Position Overview

Define the market opportunity and appropriate technologies for endovascular treatment of carotid artery disease (emphasis on carotid stents and protection technology) and structural heart intervention (focus on Endovascular Left Atrial Appendage Repair) • Define and quantify business opportunities, including business and financial models • Conduct market/customer research; analyze clinical methods, product application, unmet clinical needs, competitive analysis, methods of sales distribution • Collaborate with R&D to define product marketing requirements and design specifications for assigned projects • Effectively recommend/articulate business strategy and financial impact • Other duties as assigned
  • • Knowledge of medical devices, competition and endovascular clinical procedures • Familiar with medical device regulatory environment and clinical strategies • Knowledge of clinical procedures in interventional cardiology/radiology • Strong analytical skills; excellent presentation skills • Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Degree in related field or equivalent • 10+ years experience in the medical device industry, including 5+ years in interventional cardiology and interventional radiology • Good communication skills; ability to effectively interface with physicians and R&D teams • Largely self-directed, capable of meeting project goals with moderate supervision
