The Principal Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for driving current and future product availability and order fulfillment for a set of MicroVention products and/or regions. The position will coordinate activities related to demand, supply and inventory planning to meet our overall financial goals. The Principal Analyst will also support various facets of the Supply Chain team with continuous improvement projects, process and systems implementation initiatives. This position requires a self-starter with excellent analytical capabilities, stakeholder management, ability to dive deep into data and to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration and communication. Job duties:
  • Participate in demand/forecast meeting with global marketing and sales stakeholders to identify known demand sources and foreseeable changes, such as orders, scheduling agreements, consignments, etc.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and production for end to end efficiencies.
  • Interface with product development/launch team between R&D, regulatory and marketing as Supply Chain Representative to discuss launch plans, forecasts, stocking inventory requirements, cannibalization plans, introduction schedules, and regulatory submission/approval with support of stakeholders.
  • Assist in business area planning and manufacturing in resources requirement and manpower forecasts.
  • Be the driving force in supporting the development of inventory plans, establishing metrics of inventory performance to plan and targets, and managing End-of-Sale.(expired) and End-of-Life (obsolescence) reserves.
  • Analyze and identify impact of changes to supply chain’s schedule and critical path. Additionally, develop alternative paths and risk mitigation strategies to key stakeholders within company.
  • Design, develop and implement operational and financial analysis of supply chain.
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly planning processes using company’s ERP system.
  • Proactively monitor manufacturing execution of timely delivery and managing service levels of all received orders.
  • Evaluate business processes, provide recommendations and implement improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize team responsibilities to accomplish defined objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    1. Associates degree with minimum ten (10) years of industry experience.
    2. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and analytical approach towards problem solving in a matrix environment.
    3. Ability to analyze data, present findings and make recommendations.
    4. Advanced computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strong ERP usage and understanding.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related degree.
    2. Medical device industry experience.
    3. ERP knowledge/ experience.
